I'd plan to get over there and take some closer photos of the black gas tank and inside the tank. I'll photo turn signals also. Isn't this XS11 site collecting valve shims??? I have several of those. I have side covers but they would need sanding and painting but the plastic isnt broke. I'll check for good hand controls. Mike

I have a brand new standard master cylinder still in the package, it's from Mike'sXS or Parts-n-More web site. Part number 08-0264 or i have used ones which, i think, would need repaint maybe.

Ok I do have two fuel petcocks and they look pretty good shape, i mean they'll most likely need to be rebuilt. I can remove the fuel sender from the maroon gas tank and check it, ohm it out....etc.. please see photos at: http://razzi.me/mbhoutx/photos... Gas cap, Im seaching for my key to open it up and take a look. The seat, is reupholstered and missing the side trim pieces, you can see in the photos and it fits a standard and the pan is soild just has little surface rust can be cleaned off, the leather needs to be cleaned.

Take a look at the photos, I took some close up of the inside of the tank, there's some light surface rust but im sure it can be treated and sealed. Let me know if its something you can work with..Thanks, not sure if i have the key though..

I dont have much on the key sets, ill let you know if i find a good set. The hand controls, I got a brand new right side from Mike'sXS web site so may have to modify the wiring but not sure. I've installed the same controls form Mike'sXS on my dad's XS and had to make a change to the wiring, not a big deal. I'd say I have around 10 or 15 valve shims. I really dont know how rare they are or hard to come by, but how does $40 plus shipping sound??

Hey this weekend I sighted an XS11 Special tearing up the streets in downtown Houston... Anyone know who that might have been??
