  • XJ & XS parts

Hi all. I am trying to finance getting my XJ on the road and have some parts for sale. I am not doing this for a living, I just need money. I have a few take off parts for an XJ1100 listed here.

I also bought a 1970's XS650 from my neighbor with no title the other day to part out and raise more money. I tried to keep my prices under the other E-bayers on this bike cause they are asking outrageous prices. It is still a rolling chassis. The engine kicks over with strong compression. I know it would run. Here's the rest of it.

I just picked up a 78' XS750 Standard with a seized engine. many of the parts are interchangeable so let me know if you need something. It's mostly there except for the carbs. I'm going to part it out then chop it, stretch it, hard tail it, lower it, and make something scary. I can't understand why someone would booger up any XS with this piss yellow paint and sheep skin seat cover. Must have been a hippy bike. It came with a magnetic Santa Clause too.

I'm sure the thing is in bad shape, it would need recovering. I haven't had a key to flip the seat up yet. I need to have one made. The foam looks okay on it.

That seat will not fit an XS11 though. It mounts very differently than our seats.

Yeah sorry, I would post on another forum, but I don't want to have accounts all over the web trying to keep track. I posted here cause some of the parts will work.

                      Ha! That's funny Phil!

Nate - get yourself a dummy belt of 7.62 ammo (about 4-5 inches worth) and glue it to the sides as if hanging out of the box top....THAT might make someone stop tailgating!

Do you know if the rear fender and crash guards would fit an xs standard?

The crash guard would fit, but it has a huge flat spot on the left side from when it must have been down. A guy could weld it in smooth it out and paint it. The rear fender may fit. I don't have an XS11 to compare to. I just have an XJ. I could take measurements if you'd like.

Hey bassman. I just found your build thread and didn't realize that your frame was hacked off. I'll tell you what. Tomorrow I'll compare the rear 750 fender to my XJ. The XJ should be close enough tp your XS11 standard for fender fitment. Also, I plan to chop the 750 frame anyway, so I'll hack off the rear frame section and send it to you with the fender. I alos have a rear XJ fender but it differs slightly cause it had a glovebox bolted to the top of it under the rear of the stock seat. It would be ugly. I'm keeping the tail light off the 750 for my bike, sorry.

I would still be interested in the crash guards as well.

Would you mind sending me a PM quote for the parts and shipping to zip code 80525.

                              Thanks
