    '80 Special Parts

    I'm helping a friend market parts of an '80 special. He has the complete bike and cannot get a title so he's parting it out. Some parts are very rusty, reason unknown. He said he started it a while ago but had fuel pouring out of the carbs, stuck floats anyone??
    Anyway, here's a partial list. If you don't see anything on it ask me and I'll find out if he still has it.
    • Motor
    • Carbs
    • Side covers
    • Seat
    • Starter
    • Headlight
    • Keyed set (ignition, gas cap, helmet lock and 1 key)
    • Hand controls
    • Tank (No Rust!!)
    • Wheels
    • Ignitor
    • Carb boots
    • Signals
    • Coils
    • Rectifier
    • Forks
    • Shocks
    So far, the bike is still complete. Pictures of it are in my ad for exhausts.

                  How much for the keyed set? I just ordered an ignition switch but I still need the gas cap, steering lock, ignition tumblers since they would all match. I would like some stock special handlebars too, I have the dorky square ones. I'm interested in gauge pods. Shoot me some prices.

                      No response from this guy

                      As I say in the title of this post.....
                      I've emailed all your requests to this guy and have had no response. I'll try again later today.
                      As you may, or may not, know we've been under tropical storm conditions in south Florida for the past couple of days which will continue through today.
                      Maybe that has something to do with his lack of responsiveness.
                      I'll try again later today and report back.
