I guess, cause it's 'new' and never been used before, then the price isn't so bad.
Mine is way old and one of the welds have broke, plus I don't have a harness, so I had to 'make' one.
If I had the money, I'd probably spend it on that, but sadly I don't and Mrs. budget keeps me on a tight leash.

That's about $100 more than what I paid for the same thing shipped. Even got the brochure people try to sell for $15 on eBay.
Current Stable:
1978 XS1100E - Beauty - Vetter Full Dress
1979 XS1100F - The Beast - Winter Project to Factory Full Dress
1979 XS1100SF - Black Sunshine - The Lucky Find
1978 XS1100E - Little Orphan Annie - Sold to a friend, slowly becoming a 1196 monster.
WTB:
1981 XS1100H Venturer - Long distance cruiser.
1989 FJ1200 - For playing in the curves!
Just to let you naysayers know, this is like being back in 1979
when you got a new WJ and all the mounting hardware was
still sealed in the original box from Vetter. Even has the straps to
go around your fork legs to mount the auxillary side reflectors
that are also still sealed in "mint" condition and it has the black bag for
all of your harness to be neatly tied-up and kept from the elements...
Of course the bracket is show quality as if it had
been made yesterday and all of the electrical connectors are still sealed.
I, for one, was one happy camper when I opened the original box... YOMV but that's my experience with the seller and this item
Current Rides:
02 GL1800 Wing
79 XS1100SF Sold 10-15-12
81 XS1100H Venturer Sold 10-27-12
The way prices are going up on all NOS XS parts as they slowly get sold off makes me reconsider using any NOS stuff I have.
Maybe I need to pack it all away in cool dry storage and make it part of my retirement portfolio.

The bracket has found its way to a good home. Found A windjammer ss locally in great shape but without the bracket, and unfortanately i am not a welder nor have the ability to make my own. Now with the addition of this fairing my xs11 special will be complete.

Value is in the eye of the buyer. I never say if something it too high or low. You bought it and are happy that's all that matters. Probably nice working with new parts!
