Hi Tony,
best to say "similar". It sez it's from a '78 when they only made Standards.
If so it won't quite fit a Special, it'll just be close enough to be really annoying.

I had my eye on that one . . .

But I ended up buying one for a bunch more money and that appeared in worse condition because of the advice given by some members here that I should try to get one from an '80 special, since that's what I have. It's on its way, and I'll report as to whether or not the thing fits, or can be made to fit.
