Not a super guru but here is a list for the slip ons which are shown as obsolete. The footpegs themselves should be interchangeable I think

This Yamaha 3H5-27413-01-00 COVER,FOOTREST part is also used on these models and components:

        1980 XS1100G STAND - FOOTREST

        1980 XS1100LG STAND - FOOTREST

        1980 XS1100SG STAND-FOOTREST

        1981 XS1100H STAND - FOOTREST

        1981 XS1100LH STAND-FOOTREST

        1981 XS1100SH STAND - FOOTREST

If you look around you will be able to find new footpegs sooner or later like this one. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-Yamaha-1...589642&vxp=mtr
        2-79 XS1100 SF
        2-78 XS1100 E Best bike Ever
80 XS 1100 SG Big bore kit but not fully running yet.
Couple of more parts bikes of which 2 more will live!

Check with our member here Andreashweiss, as he keeps us supplied with good used replacement parts. I just got a nice used set of the wide 80-81 rider pegs from him a few weeks ago. At that time, he also had another set.

If your not too worried about an OEM look these from a XVZ 1200 or 1300 take a little work to mount but add a little bling to that area:

OEM on left and XVZ on right

              XVZ end shot

              XVZ top shot

              XVZ bottom shot

              semi-mounted (sorry about the brightness)

              1979 XS1100SF (stock-euro mods planned)
              1984 XV700L Virago (to be hot-modded)
              1983 XJ750MK Midnight Maxim (semi-restored DD)
              1977 XS650D ( patiently awaiting resto)

Sometimes it takes a whole tank of gas before you can think straight.

As you can see in this link some don't come with the bolt brackets:

                    http://www.ebay.com/itm/1984-Yamaha-...item2eba016ebc

And with this link they are the rears (less wear) like I got and changed them to the chrome brackets:

                    http://www.ebay.com/itm/YAMAHA-84-XV...item3cbe842452

And these fronts aren't a direct bolt up:

                    http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from...All-Categories

But they are plentiful and well priced for hardly used pegs.

Yes, a worn out set of XJ or Special's pegs I believe is where I got the chrome brackets to fit the XVZ pegs from, but the XVZ's are not a direct fit.

Well, in that case the first pic was confusing as it was stated the right one was from an XVZ, not stating the mount had already been changed...........

                          Crs

                          Oops, sorry about that.
I've had parts sitting around since '05 for this bike when my daughter showed me how to turn on the computer, found this site and Parts 'n More the first day. I gotta get this thing put together. Last time it ran was '01. I always got two too many irons in the fire.

I have a couple of brand new OEM footpegs (one left and one right) if you want new OEM ones. Let me know.
                            Thanks
