Have a very good condition 79Special tank I want to trade a standard even swap tank for tank, will even toss in the octy as I won't need it with the standard tank.

I'll post some pics tomorrow. Tank will need some inside cleaning, but bike was running. My petcocks are working as is the sending unit, yours needs to as well.
No major dents, a small ding ok, mine has maybe one pea size ding. Mine is black, but I'm not worried about the color of yours as longs as the color isn't rust... lol.

Depending on price, may be willing to buy a 79F tank or if same on other years/models, pm me with price if you have one laying around, not worried about petcocks or minor cosmetics, just not dented or badly rusted.

of the tanks will work. you do need the petcocks though because they do not interchange between the special tanks and the standard tanks.

Yeah, I wasn't thinking about swaping petcocks, just going with new or like new replacements. Thanks........no do you have one...lol

Nope, no spare tank. I had to trade to get my current standard tank.
