  • Free XS11 frame/engine

I need to make room in the garage, and it's time to let my parts bike go.

    XS1100SF, I believe, I think 1979.

It's been stripped of many parts, but the engine was in tip top shape when it was crashed ~10 years ago, and I've been keeping it around for that purpose. It was rolled, and the handlebars/wheel are all bent, but the frame looks okay otherwise.

Free, of course. Have a bin full of parts I've stripped, too.

    Madison, WI

I'll send this guy off to the junkyard soon, but wanted to give it up to any other XS11ers if they want it.

Come get it! Save it from the scrap heap!

I should mention it's got a clear title; I should be able to dig it up.

          45 minutes away!

          Hey John,
I live 45 minutes straight south of Madison.

PM me with some of the parts you've got off & what's left.

          Carbs?, tank?

I would have to negotiate with the better half. I heard something about " that's gotta be the last one", last time I brought one home.
          But, who knows?

The carbs/tank are NOT part of it, sorry. Those I plan to keep. Small enough to pass muster with MY better half. =)

I've got some stuff in a bin, but not those two items, that I am willing to part with. Just smaller junk, relays and stuff.

I would love to come get it, I'm in Milwaukee and can drive up asap.
My xs750 just died and this would be perfect to use.
I can promise I'll do my best to get her going and give her a good life.
Let me know where, and when the best time to come is?
