Turns out he forgot all about me and sold them to someone else. He was suppose to have someone bring them blah, blah, blah but decided someone at the door was better. I would have drove there if that's what I needed to do but I thought we had a damn deal in place. Oh well

Jeff, I can tell you from experience that some folks will say you have a deal, then you show up and they want to hagle, or they never show up themselves.
It was a bad turn for the guy to say you had a deal and then sell them out from under you, but I would have got him a down payment or money some how to seal the deal.Life is what happens while your planning everything else!
