another parts bike is arriving

good morning, I bought a 1980 or 81 Yamaha xs1100 midnight special which should be arriving in a couple of days, supposed to have paperwork, no keys, and a burnt valve but still ran, stored inside, was being used as a parts bike for a regular chrome special...really. Depending on ites overall condition this bike may not be parted out. Keep you advised. thanx andreas

I need one piston: standard bore for an 1980 xs1100 special. It has to weigh 201 grams (mass without rings, clips, or piston rod). I bought a set recently on ebay listed for a 1980 and found out that they were 6 grams too heavy. do you have a scale to weigh a piston?
