Alright guy's I'm leaning twards parting out my bike. See the story and pictures here http://www.xs11.com/forum/showthread.php?t=32664 Before you even as. I don't have any side covers let me know which parts you need and what you're looking to spend (with in reason) by far the best part of this bike is the carbs and seat. I had the seat refoamed and covered in the fall of `09 and maybe have 800 miles on it. The carbs I rebuilt and cleaned this winter / spring and all settings / jet sizes are oem. They're ready to install and go. PM me or post here. I'm on almost daily so I'll get back to you. As always ask me questions. You guys have answered all mine

Check the other thread, I'm guessing the inspection is a VIN verification by a law enforcement officer (police officer). Generally just a formality and usually a last step in the process of issuing a title, as it's an official verification that the VIN actually matches the paperwork. I suspect you have a form that has to be signed and sent back?

Hi there. If you really think you have to part it out, I'd love to know if you have an ignition plate cover you'd be willing to sell...

The exhaust I'll let go for $50 + shipping. Its not pretty by any means but it works well. 4-2's with HD mufflers welded on. I'm going to get pics up as soon as I get the car I'm working on out of my garage. PM me or e-mail me if interested

              Hi,

I'm not sure if this counts as part of the front end, but how about the headlamp, bucket, ears, and turn signal assembly?

I'm pretty sure all this is going with the front end.

                        Bump on this.

                        Parts sold (pending payment)
                        Gas tank
                        Tail light assembly
                        Front break lever assembly
                        Tail piece behind the seat.

Everything else is still taking up space in my garage.
I'm open to all reasonable offers.
I have pretty much all the parts dis-assembled. So I can send pictures upon request.

Unless I get a request for the whole engine for pick up I think I'll be selling as parts.

                              ignition unit.

If the ignition unit will work on my 1980 xs1100 I would like it if you still have it. thanks Neal.
