  • Stuff! Lots of stuff!!

Ok, here's round two of my parts sell-a-thon. Lots of parts, for both specials and standards. Rather than post a bunch of pics, I'll just link to a slideshow. Not everything listed is pictured, if you need a pic (or more pics) PM me with your email address and I'll get back to you ASAP. More info, just a PM. All prices are FIRM unless it says OBO...

Shipping: All prices don't include shipping and I like to use Flat-rate boxes where possible. Combining shipping is no problem (if it'll fit in the same flat-rate box, the price stays the same). Larger items will go parcel post unless you specify different and it's possible to do around here.

    Here's the slideshow link.... http://s777.photobucket.com/albums/y...view=slideshow

    The parts:

'79-81 Special gas tank. Pretty nice, two small dings (circled with felt pen), only medium surface rust in some places inside. Easy clean, easy fix. No cap, emblems, or petcocks, but does have the low fuel sensor. $50

'78-81 standard front caliper set. Disassembled, cleaned, good pistons (as seen) and powdercoated gloss black for a durable finish, then reassembled. Ready to install. No pads or mounting brackets, sorry. $40

'79-81 Special front caliper set. Same as above, but with 80% EBC pads and mounting hardware. $65

Pacifico saddlebag parts. Incomplete, so selling for parts. The one (and only) lid is very good, no crack or breaks, both latches are there as is the weatherstripping. Nice replacement for that one you lost... $20. Turn signal bracket, chrome is 'ok' (definitely some pitting/plating missing in places) $10 OBO. Chrome 'bridge' between the two side, very nice $10. Latches off the bottom bags, nice chrome (typical pic further along in the slideshow), work good $5 each. Bag bottoms/mounting brackets.. both bags have issues (rash on one, one mounting hole pulled through on the other, and the brackets have been modified but should still fit as designed. Make an offer for these...

'78-81 standard luggage racks. I have two identical, the pics are of the nice one. This one has a few extra holes drilled in it and some pitting that's not visible when mounted. $30. The other one is pretty rusty/pitted but still structurally sound; good candidate for painting. $15 OBO.

'79-81 Special front master cylinder. Same treatment as the calipers, 'reconditioned' reservoir. Ready to install. $40

Sissy bar. Designed to fit the luggage racks (may fit others), very nice chrome but some damage to the pad as seen. I believe you can get a replacement cover for this... $15

'79 (?) Special seat. I'm not 100% sure what this is, as it was fitted to a '81H. Looks like an aftermarket cover (which is damaged anyway), but the foam looks decent and the pan is nearly rust-free and solid. Some damage at the back, but this could be beat back straight easily. $50

'80-81 Special seat. Aftermarket king/queen cover (?) which will need replacing, PO cut the foam to reduce seat height. But another super-solid pan with only very slight rust. $50

The rest of the pictures are of the remaining items from my first listing (still for sale! ).

    Not shown, pics upon request:

A couple of sets of forks. One pair each of standard and Special air-assisted forks. Straight, but will need new seals and cleaning up. $50 a pair.

Pacifico fairing, complete except for W/S, headlight. No lowers. Mounting brackets, wiring harness w/plug, all the rest is there. If you need parts, here you go. $40 OBO

Vetter 'Vindicator' fairing. Model without built-in turn signals. No W/S, otherwise complete w/bracket, wiring (no lowers). $40 OBO

Another Vetter 'Vindicator', but this one does have the signals. Complete (no lowers) w/bracket and wiring, pretty decent condition and has the W/S (a few scratches, but should clean up with some elbow grease). $70 OBO

That's it for now.... Thanks for looking!

        rear master cylinder rubber boot

Hey, I didn't see a picture but figured it was worth a shot. I need the rubber boot that connects the rear brake lever to the rear master cylinder. Mine is cracked and dry-rotted, and leaking break fluid. Just thought I'd see if you could help me out. Thanks

If you have a leak there, you need more than the boot. That's just a dust seal and won't prevent leaks even if replaced. You need to rebuild the master cylinder, and can get the kit here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/78-81...item2c5b7d9344
This is Georgefix, who many here buy parts from. Good products, fast shipping, and will take care of problems if any turn up. The kits don't come with the boot you're after, but I may have a spare around somewhere...
