    kerker and carbs

    I have a kerker exhaust system and a set of carbs for a XS Eleven. They came off of a 1980 Standard. Send me a pm for more info.

      Thanks. The bike is titled as a 1980. P/O must have changed them.

                Did the carbs work before they were removed and how long have they been sitting

                  I bought the bike as a parts bike. PO told me the engine locked up while riding. According to him the carbs were fine. I drained the bowls and sprayed some carb cleaner in them and put them in storage. They looked ok to me but I did not take them apart for further inspection. They appear to be clean and in good shape but I can't guarantee that however the fuel tank on the bike looked like new inside. I sold the tank to a fellow member on here.

                    Ok sounds good. I am going to give my carbs one last try before I say to hell with it. I will know more after this weekend.

                            Yes that looks like a Venturer. These are supposed to be rare.
