I was going to list a big gob of 'extra' parts I have, but have decided to list them in batches. All prices don't include shipping, but I will ship however you want; parcel post, priority mail, or UPS. I'll combine shipping too, so no worries there. Out of the US, remember that shipping will probably exceed the value of the part; figure a minimum of $30 to Canada unless it's a small item. There'll be more parts coming as I get them cleaned up (refurbished calipers, a set of floorboards, a couple of fuel tanks) so keep watching. Rather than post pics, I've just put in links to pics. Got any questions, send me a PM. If they don't sell here in a few weeks or so, it's off to Ebay so don't think about it too long...
Anyway, here's the parts...
'80-81 standard rear fender. Actually for a '81 (still has the 'correct' decal for a Venturer), this will fit either. Very nice shape, minor pitting up under the seat and behind the plate, otherwise just a bit of scuffing. Usual surfuce rust underneath, and missing the plastic pivot bushings. These can be pulled from any standard fender. $15
'80-81 Special rear fender. With license plate light/mount. About the same as the one above, less pitting but does have a scratch (visible in the pic). $15
Pair of genuine Yamaha case guards (the 'stuff' on the left one is what's left of the sticker). Very nice, light scuffing, virtually no rash, some minor pitting near the welds. $25
A set of adjustable shocks. Pretty nice, but not perfect. Some pitting on the retaining rings, bit of rust in some crevices, a few wear spots where 'stuff' rubbed on them. One adjustment wheel is stiff (but does turn), and one has the spring adjustment lug missing. I'll throw in another adjuster, you install. $25
A set of 'Special' adjustable shocks. Nicer than the standard shocks. Reflectors look good, everything turns like it should. $40
Chrome front motor mounts. Decent shape, some pitting but look ok. $5
Special gauge set. Nice chrome with only minor pitting, wrong speedo (650 unit) but works, good wiring plugs. As far as I know these work... $60
Special tach. Again, as far as I know this works. Missing the rubber gasket between the gauge and the shell and one nut/washers. Pretty nice chrome shell, good wiring plug. $15
Cruise control. Complete with already-modified grip, ready to install. Works fine, this is the older metal version, not the cheap plastic one. Some minor pitting, but not obvious. $15
'Drag Bars'. A near-new set of handlebars, 29" wide. A little bit of scuffing from being installed, but otherwise perfect. $5
Right sidecover for a '81. Says Special, but was fitted to a '81H frame so I'll assume it would fit both. No cracks, chips, breaks, has slotted holes on top and the mounting tab is good. Should be repainted. Sorry, no left side. $25
'78-81 Battery tray. Got a nasty, rusty tray? Here's the permanent fix; this one has been sandblasted clean, then heavily powdercoated. Sorry, no holddown hardware... $25
Polished/Powdercoated '78-81 standard trees. Polished top tree, 'chrome' powdercoated bottom tree. Includes headlight adjustment bracket, wire guide (PC black) and wire cover (not shown, can't find it just now ). Ready to install bearings on. No hardware. $40
Last but not least, a set of fully polished standard calipers with mounts. Besides being polished, these also have new stainless steel pistons (over $80 just by themselves). Did all work, then went another direction. Includes hardware except for fork bolts, good pads, will need final assembly. $130. I'll go cheaper if I can keep the pistons...
