You are correct. The shield fits the yamaha fairing that was attached to a 1980 Standard.

I no longer have the bracket. It went with the light bar. I still have the fairing minus the shield and will hold for you if you want it.

Definitely in your best interest to pick it up. From experience due to the bilk of the fairing it would be expensive to ship. Heck I might have a few other freebies you could be interested in.
