Seat For 80 Special

This is the seat that was on my bike when I bought it. I don't really care for the style. I figured I'd give you all the first shot at this. If no one here wants it, it'll go on eBay.

Asking $100, and the shipping cost will depend on where it's going. I would prefer to take payment through PayPal.

Overall, it's in good shape. Defects are noted below, under the pics.










Here, you can see some stretching of the cover around the edges of the pan. Also, one of the rear rubber pads is missing.

It's hard to see here, but there is a small crack in each of the circled areas. When I got it, this tab was bent in towards the pan. I believe that's how the cracks formed. I have bent it back to where it's supposed to be, but I dont have the tools to repair it.

Yeah, me neither.
If you have found a seat that you like better, selling that one will help pay for it.
If you haven't found a replacement (it took me over a year to find a stock seat for my SG)
You can have a friendly sheet metal worker cut off that tailpiece, reshape the pan and weld up the fatigue cracks
so you can reshape the foam pad and fit a Saddleskins replacement cover.
And you can get extra seat buffers from MikesXS.

Got a seat from DGXSER. Didn't want to sell this one until I had the replacement in hand. But now that it's here, it is time for this one to go!
