  • OEM Special Exhaust

Knowing how hard these are to find, and how outrageously expensive they can be when you do find one, this doesn't look like that bad of a deal....

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Yamah...item2c57b5dc06

Tons of surface rust, and it looks like the chrome is totally gone in places, but there doesn't seem to be any rust-through and only a few minor dings. A good candidate for a sandblast-and-paint job.

No interest myself (I'm a 'standard' guy) and no connection with the seller, just thought somebody may be looking for one of these..

For what it's worth, I have dealt with this seller for non-yamaha parts and been happy with their value.
Fast, Cheap, Reliable... Pick any two

First off, ther're off an 81 Special or Standard as they both used the same system in 81,second thing is likely holes would start showing through the chrome muffler shells once put back in service. With the heat along with the accidity inside.......would'nt take very long either....IMO not worth a second look but you never know........
81H Venturer1100 "The Bentley" (on steroids) 97 Yamaha YZ250(age reducer) 92 Honda ST1100 "Twisty"(touring rocket) Age is relative to the number of seconds counted 'airing' out an 85ft. table-top.

Well, what with 'better' looking complete stock exhausts going for $300 and up (sometime way up), $100 doesn't look too bad.

And those holes are factory drain holes; they're supposed to be there...
