1978 XS1100 fairing and other parts

I am planning on doing a custom build out of this bike so I want to get rid of a lot of stuff.
The fairing, the seat, the back rest, frame and lights around saddlebags for sure.
May end up building a custom tank and side covers,(or eliminating them all together). But that depends on what the tank and side covers are worth.

Anyway, I am driving down to S. Florida in about 3 weeks and could deliver
the parts along the way, if that helps.
I will be driving my van, pulling a trailor with other bikes on it.

Not sure what this stuff is worth, so feel free to make an offer.

I'm attaching a picture of the complete bike. I haven't taken anything off from it yet, except the tank, side covers and seat.
And that is just because I am trying to get it running and make sure it is worth building something out of.

Another option would be to trade this bike for one that is less pristine,(+ or - $).
If it is somewhere between, N. Michigan and S. Florida, it would be an easy trade.

I also have the fairing lowers and they are in exccellent condition.

How much are you asking for the fairing and lowers? Do you have any additional pics of those parts?

I am in the Cincinnati area within 10 miles of I75, your route to FL I would assume, and could meet you easily without you going out of your way more than just off the highway.

I will take some more pictures of those items this afternoon.
I will most likely becoming right through Cincinnati.
I'm not sure what a fair price is for these items, but if you want to send me a pm with what you think, that would be fine.
I will do a little research and see if I can find something to compare it to.
I you do decide you want it, I will probanly just leave it on the bike until I get to your place.
It would be a lot easier for you to reinstall it if you were involved in the removal of it.

Here are some pictures.
I can send some directly to you if that would help.
The fairing appears to have no cracks or major scratches.
All the pocket covers are near excellent and the key for the locking compartment is included.
The windshield is also in very nice condition. should clean up very nicely.

The stereo is also a CB and seems to work fine.
It is installed very well and could be removed with very little effort.
It seems to have been installed professionally.

Just did a ebay search for XS1100 fairings.
The only things on there are Vetter fairings for the most part.
There wasn't a whole fairing together just auctions for the pieces.
If you were to buy them for what they are listed for now plus the shipping,
you would be at $435.
How does $395 delivered sound?
This would include the complete fairing plus all the mounting hardware, wiring harness, lowers and cb/stereo system.
Let me know if this sounds fair.

Well I remved the fairing.
If anyone wants it, please feel free to make an offer.
I would be interested in selling the fuel tank, but would like to take a tank on trade.
This tank has good paint, no real scratchs and the emblems and pin stripes are real nice also.
I just want a tank I can paint. Don't have to be pretty, just not all dented up.
Don't need the emblems either.
I have the piece that goes behind the seat also.
Saddles bags and all the mounting hardware are also available.
The seat is also in very good condition.

I am in need if a front brake master cylinder and possibly the calipers also.
If you have a working system, I would consider taking it on trade for some of my parts.

Seat, seat cowl, and fairing lowers are sold.

Tank and side covers may be sold, but not for sure yet.
