I'm interested. Is it a CycleSound model or a VetterSound? There's an interesting entry in the FAQ section of Craig Vetter's website (http://www.craigvetter.com/pages/Vet...questions.html). Apparenly the CycleSound units are the original accessory and the VetterSound units came about AFTER Vetter sold his company. I kind of like the idea of keeping my '79 "period correct" as far as I can. If it's a CycleSound and the case is in good shape, then I'm interested.

I plan on hacking the guts from a cassette-to-stereo adapter into an old 8-track tape, and mounting an automotive 8-track receiver into the CycleSound unit. This way it looks like I'm playing the 8-track, but I have a stereo out to plug into my iPhone for mp3s. Ya I know I could just go BlueTooth, but where's the fun in that?

            Cycle Sound

I have the Cycle Sound in my 79 Special. Just removed it yesterday. the bike looks cleaner without in in place. My speakers look raty but they work. Have not tried the cassette player. I just put mine in the basement and have no need for it.
Problem is shipping is probably more $$ than the unit is worth.
There were two bolts on each side accessable after removing the speakers, and two bolts at the outer end of the windscreen. Then two electrial wyres ( black and red ) with snap fittings. But I needed to cut the wyres to thread them through the small holes under the radio.
