  • Mikuni RS Carbs!

Here are the carbs I had on my XS1100. They worked great, with only slight modification. You need a dual cable setup, and if anyone buys them here, I will include along with the small bracket I made to move my airbox forward. I used a KZ1000 dual throttle and rewired it into the XS1100 harness so all the lights and starter work. These are spaced and ready to go. I used these with my stock airbox, as I never liked the pods.
Also, you need to put a restrictive jet into the vac line, which I can explain. Get rid of those old, CV carbs and buy these!

What size jet did you use for the vac advance?
" She'll make point five past lightspeed. She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts, kid. I've made a lot of special modifications myself. "

I don't know the exact size. I put it in the vac line coming off the #1 carb/intake manifold. The other intake manifold boots are plugged. I had a mechanic buddy who had done this before and he used a small(diameter size small enough to fit inside the vac line), plastic restrictive jet that looks like you could put the tip of a needle through it...
