What you need is the front caliper from an XJ1100. They used the same calipers on the LH as they did on the XJ. Those seem to be a lot easier to find. It's not real pretty, but here's one on ebay right now.

BTW, what happened to your old one? You can replace the seals a lot cheaper than the whole caliper.

        Right Front Caliper

Moved and somehow lost the box of 'little parts' for my brake rebuild . Only piece missing is the support for the RF caliper.

Support?? There is no support. It just bolts directly to the forks with 2 bolts, straight through the caliper.

Are you sure you have an '81? the '80 MNS is different from the '81 MNS. Match your serial number to this list to verify.

            2-piece caliper

I have the 'core' of the caliper ( piston and cylinder ) I don't have the part that bolts to the forks . Brian

Are they any different from the MNS to the Special? I think the calipers are the same just different hookup for the "linked" system.

I have the pair of brake calipers from the bike I am parting out. I'd rather sell them as a set though. Will include everything right down to the banjo bolts and pads.

                    pair of calipers

I would buy a pair, but I think they are different. Mounting holes on the fork are 43mm or 1 5/8 " apart. Could you measure yours ? Brian
