Unless the aluminum body is cracked or missing, all you need is a rebuild kit. The rear MC for the XJ is a one-of-a-kind piece, and almost as hard to find as the same part on the '81 Midnight Special (rebuild kits for that one don't exist).
Of course, if you would rather replace it, I'd happily take your old one!1980 XS850SG - Sold

I need all the badges. Tank, both of them if they are in good shape. Having my bike painted. Do you have the Maxim badges that go on the side covers? Also looking for the one that goes on the back of the backrest. Or do you know where to get new ones from?82 XJ1100
