    FJ Fork Mod Parts

Hi guys, just a heads up. I have a contact from the FJ sight that has some parts including a couple sets of FJ forks FREE to XS members who what to do a FJ fork mod. These will only cost you shipping. I asked him to come up with a list and I will post it on here and give his email out as necessary. Of course I just bought all the freekin parts I need to do this mod, I guess thats life eh? Anyone interested in a set of forks speak up and you will get first dibs.

Sign me up! Would any of them also happen to have the wheel, brakes, etc? I would really like having a 17" front rim...

This is the email I received...

"Okay have gone thru the stuff. I have a complete 1985 FJ1100 front end.
I have attached a couple blurry, sorry, photos. What you may not be able to see are both steering stem bearings, all associated ring nuts, keeper and cap nut. I have no idea about the condition of the internals. Seals seem okay.
I also have the front brake calipers, and line splitter. Front master in very rough shape, missing it's cover, no lever. I will be doing the '88 and newer fork mod to the '85 in the next couple weeks so will have another wheel, calipers, fork lowers and internals. I can also remove the tire from the wheel to save some weight."

Im giving 81xsproject first dibs on a front end then will give seconds to psycoreefer. If theres anything left I will post it up.

                      PM sent...

I will update the available parts after 81xsproject and psychorefer get done rummaging. Up next is daveyg... Not sure if he will have a full set of forks available but I know he will have a FJ front wheel and break rotors and probably calipers...

I would love the wheel, rotors, calipers... If there is one set left over. With or without forks/trees.
