Looking for a Fairing

Acually the most important thing is where you are located. I would be willing to drive about 400 miles one way. It seems that shipping it is too costly. I am about 40 miles west of St. Louis MO. on I-70. Let me know where you are.

I am in Northern Virginia. I checked mileage and its well over 800 one way. I can check shipping and see how much it would actually be. I heard something about using a Greyhound bus to ship things, but I'm not 100% how that works or if you could get away with it.
I have the King/queens seat I'm trying to get rid of as well as the saddle bags. It is certainly fine if you only want the faring though.

Fairing

I am still interested. I will pay you the full amount. I don't haggle. I must insist that there be no cracks in the fairing or unecessary holes in it. The color doesn't matter. All the hardware and wire harnesses must be there. I tried calling the Grayhound bus termainal shipping here at St. Louis and got no answer. Have you tried the Grayhound at your end? I think they would want it in a wood crate. That would be a hassle. As for the seat, I don't need one, thanks.

faring has no cracks or holes. The flexible trim is kind of peeling up on the tighter bends but goes back in place easily. I would like to get $150 for it, but let me know what you are willing to spend. I will check greyhound and see how that works and what it will cost. Thanks

I just talked to greyhound and they said it would only be $45 plus some small fees so your looking at 50 to 60 tops on shipping. I thinks that is a pretty good rate to ship something that big. UPS said $175

Hey be sure to give some feedback on how that greyhound shipping works, Ive talked to them before, and they sounded fast and cheap then too but I never knew anyone that used them so went with ups.

I've shipped Greyhound a couple times. Worked well. They call you and you have to get down to one of their freight terminals to pick up the package. Once shipped an XS 11 frame from Wisconsin to Pennsylvania that way. I received my Vetter bags via Greyhound. You have to be available to pick up items during work hours and, as I said, have to drive to the nearest terminal that off-loads freight from the bus. Not a big deal in larger towns, may be a short drive if you are in a more rural area. Check with Greyhound about where the terminals are located in your area, or in the area you would like to ship to. Advantage is they take odd-shaped or large packages that UPS may not take. Greyhound can also advise about packing requirements; I had to have the XS frame wrapped so grease would not rub off it onto other luggage and pakckages, but that was about it.
