  • Parting out XJ 1100

I have a complete Xj1100 that I am parting out.
It has pods and Harley sportster mufflers, but everyting else seems to be stock.
First gear slips some and one of the coils isnt working.
I will be glad to discuss any part, and price with you.
I will post on here what is gone as parts sell, otherwise I have them.
Ill be glad to email or txt pics.
    Thanks

          Make an offer!!

Ok, I am getting lots of messages about parts...
          This is great!!!!

What's not so great is that I am having trouble finding what comparable parts have sold for. Even then, this is not what they are worth. Something is only truly worth what one is willing to pay for it.
It will speed up the process if you would be so kind as to tell me what you would be willing to pay for a particular part when asking about it...
I understand this might be harder because you are not sure what condition the part is in.
When making an offer, assume, unless otherwise noted; the part is in working order, that it would have the normal wear of a bike that has 23k miles, and that I will take several pictures of the part, once removed, and give an honest description before we settle on a final price. I am not looking to rip off anyone. I love these bikes and I really would like to help you get the parts you might need.
I will not charge any handeling fee and the shipping charges will be the exact abount charged by the shipper of your choice, from Grand Prairie/Arlington Texas.
I am setting up a PayPal account if you choose to use it. If you would prefer another form of payment we can discuss that.

I will be able to answer emails quicker because they come to my phone, but I will check my message on here every night.
          Thank you.
I hope we can help one another.

Dang, Man... that bike looks too nice to part out... hate to see that!

I know you said it had a couple of issues... but you're sure you don't want to save it from certain dissection death and just fix it?

Looks like a lot of potential there.... just wonderin'???

              Good luck.

Brandon is a very trustworthy, very polite individual. and YES, the above parts ARE spoken for . He was very prompt with the dis assembly of the parts i needed, and has been an awesome guy to work with.

all I need to be concerned with now is the "something else" waiting for me in my package when it arrives. if it is, in fact, anthrax, i WILL be posting a very angry message! lol.

thanks again, brandon - because of you, i should have the bike out in two or so weeks

                      Thanks

Well I can assure you that the "something else" I threw in the box is not anthrax. I just thought you deserved a little something for being the first one to buy parts off the bike. Even though you did just buy chrome.
For the most part everyone has been doing pretty good with the offers. I will take any reasonable offer for the parts. Just please bear in mind, if you make an offer for a large heavy part, like say a front wheel and tire, and you offer me....... lets say, 50 bucks including shipping, I will decline the offer. The box will cost me about 3 bucks.
The packing and tape about .50
It will take me about an hour to remove, clean and pack the part.
I should make minimum wage so that's 7.25.
The fuel to drive the 13 miles to the UPS store 2.60 (i have a truck)
The cost of shipping to the other side of the country, $45.50
                      Paypal fees: 3.00
So that would cost me 61.85 to make 50.00.
I don't know anyone who would do that.......
                      Well, except the government.
                      Thanks
