    Sintered brake pads.

So, I made a mistake and bought sintered copper alloy break pads on ebay. Apparently you'd want special discs if you're going to use these, so if anyone uses them, I have a full set I paid $41 for on ebay that I'd ship to anyone stateside for $35.

Here is the listing on ebay.

The full set is for a standard model only, but I believe it will fit special rears as well.

I'd also sell & ship individually for $14 ea.

    Thanks for looking.

Just bought a set of EBC's. Still in the trunk waitin to be put on before Caly rally. Got no problem using those as the super hard rotors on these scoots will digest bout anything you can squeeze them with. I'll watch for any takers who may need some new shoes first.

It's the sintered iron ones that are hard on rotors. These aren't any worst than regular pads. These will work great on any XS11 Standard model and if I didn't have new pads all the way round, I'd buy them myself.

Now, if only you would remember to shift into a lower gear...I can't believe all those toyota people never thought of this, unless toyota did something dumb to their shifters....

Shift down? How about reach over, turn the key and shut it off? One notch and you can still steer the car to the side of the road.

I get a kick out of these people that go on a high-speed joy ride....

I actually had to do that once, buddy was driving his '63 Dodge and he passed out... The car turned 45deg right and went over the curb of a grass crescent, and was accelerating acorss, so I reached over and turned the engine off.
Nice day, if it doesn't rain...

I may be mistaken, but don't these cars have the keyless ignition that doesn't really have an off switch?

No kill switch is a bad idea, but I think they don't have one.

I can't see it. I think all vehicles are required to have a 'kill' switch of some sort. For just these kinds of emergencies.

BTW, I forgot on my previous post, I just bought a full set of the same pads. I have no issues with copper sinter.

Looks like I have to buy another set now...
