You do realize that very nearly the only parts that will swap are the drivetrain? The forks and the frames are different enough that none of the '78-79 parts you're asking for will physically fit the XJ.

Waaaay easier to just get a dead Standard and swap motors.

After you get all those parts....I have the rest of a 79 standard I'll sell you.
I might even take that xj off your hands too.

          Well...

-I also have an XS 11 parts bike missing those parts,so if you have these parts i want and a good price i'll buy from you.
-I live in South Florida and over here everything costs a fortune,it's like a different country, since i didn't managed to get a XS 11 standard around here i bought this Maxim 1100 with low mileage for a good price, now i just have to find the parts and transform into standard.
-I'm a experienced motorcycle mechanic and contrary to what people said in other posts these bikes are pretty much the same.

Well, yes and no. The XJ is different in a few ways. Nothing that can't be overcome, but it will take some work.

Of the other parts you listed...

Gas tanks are different. The XJ tank is higher capacity and uses a different gas gauge sensor than the XS. If you plan to use the XJ instrument cluster you will have to swap in an XJ sensor, even then I suspect the gauge will be inaccurate since it is calibrated for a larger capacity tank. Or go without a fuel gauge.

The rear mount of the tank is physcally different on the XJ. The XJ carburation system is designed for use with the octopus, meaning you will need a tank with the 4 position vacuum petcocks if you want to retain the octopus. Many people remove the octo, which makes plumbing easier and increases your tank options.

The XJ seat has different mounts than any XS seat. The XJ seat uses "fingers" that fit into 2 locking mechanisms, one on each side of the frame, along with a "tongue" that fits under the fuel tank. Fitting an XS 11 seat is going to be quite a trick.

XJ side covers are unique to the XJ; XS covers will not fit as a bolt-on replacement. For example, both XJ sides use a screw at the top of the covers and have holes in them that fit over posts welded to the XJ's frame. Most of the XS covers have "fingers" that fit into rubber grommets, quite a different mounting system.

The 160 speedo will not fit into the XJ instrument cluster wihout modification to the cluster. For example, the XJ trip reset button points toward the driver, the XS speedo's reset points to the left handlebar.

The XS parts can be made to fit, but none will be a bolt-on-and-go proposition. Given the difficulty of finding and modifying the parts you listed you may want to acquire the OEM parts, I.E an XJ seat instead of an XS seat, to finish off the XJ.

However, if you want to make your XJ into a Standard, you now have a better idea of what you will be facing. Good luck either way.

ok i HAVE A 79 and an 82... i have my old 79 dented tank sitting on the xj and i think the gas tanks are the same capacity or close to it. the standard is like 5.3 gallons i don't recall the xj's the side covers would be a no go unless you made special brackets. maybe later to help you i can take my 79 standard seat off and place it on the xj with the standard tank to see how they line up. i also have a 160 speedo for sale but the needle needs to be replaced. it flipped all the way around one day and when it hit the little stopper peg it broke off. the frames are shaped different though. let me know if i can help!

                -Just changed my mind.........

-I'm having a hard time trying to get the carbs for XJ at decent prices, and suddenly tanks and seats cost a fortune, not worth it......
-I'll restore this crap, sell it and then import an standard from the United States..........
