I've got a semi-complete tour pack that I'd like to see go to a new home, or barring that, I'll just part it out. So if you want all/part or just bits, let me know. Everything is for a 78/79 standard, so you're on your own about fitment for any others. By the way, I pitched all the rusty hardware except for the specific bits and the paint is toast, so figure a repaint. No keys for any of this.
Fairing: Square headlight version (no light), unbroken, had a radio/speakers installed (although the speakers weren't mounted in the furnished spot). The W/S and pockets for the storage compartments are gone, but everything else seems to be present and in good shape. Both mounting brackets, and even have the plug/wiring tail for connecting to the bike. Make an offer on whole/parts.
Trunk: Not quite as nice. Unbroken fiberglass, but does have 'star' cracks in the paint that will need to be addressed. This has dual-element lights on each side, but both lenses are bad. Has the backrest pad and the vinyl is good, but the fibreboard backing has disintegrated. One latch is broken, both are scratched up. Lid gasket in decent shape. Make an offer. Mounting bracket below.
Luggage rack: Had the trunk mounted on it, so has some small holes drilled in it. Decent chrome, but there is some pitting in places, but still looks OK. Not for a show bike, but plenty good for a rider. $40
Saddle bags: The nicest of the lot. No cracks/breaks, fully complete (except for common hardware) including the turn signals mount. Too nice to part, so I'll only sell these as a set. Chrome is 'ok', as there's quite a bit of pitting on some parts, a few scuffs, and some serious peeling on one crash bar down low, but from 2' away it looks fine. The latches look decent except for one, and all work. $60
Trailer hitch: Custom-built out of 1/4" steel and round-tube, then chromed. This will fit a 78-79 standard for sure, may fit later standards, and probably won't fit specials due to their different exhaust. Attaches at the OEM muffler brackets (where they bolt to the mufflers) using longer bolts and to the frame at the 'accessory' holes right behind the turn signals. Concealed 4-wire wiring and 'quick' safety chain hook-up, wiring plug at the ball, and tucks in behind/clears stock exhaust and centerstand. Hell for stout, this survived unscathed my endoing the bike with the trailer attached. Chrome has some nicks/pits, but most won't be seen when installed. $75, and the plating cost more than that..
Corbin King/Queen seat: Genuine Corbin, not a cheesy recover on a stock pan. Bought new, probably only used 5-6 times and still looks new, as I didn't like it for solo riding. With mounting hardware, but without the tail piece. I'll throw in a damaged tail if you want to fix the mounting ears for fast seat swaps. $100
I also have a new-near black/w red trim Yammy snowmobile suit (bought for my long-gone X) in womens large, but would fit anybody under 5'9" and 180. I don't think she wore this more than 8-10 times. $75
I'm open to offers, but no lo-balling please. Shipping will be my actual cost (including any large boxes I have to buy). I'm located about 40 miles east of Olympia WA, so for anybody in the area I could meet up on the I-5 corridor anywhere between Centralia and Tacoma. Want more info? Send me a PM, or for pics send me an email crazies@ywave.com and I'll get back to you.
Thanks for looking!
