1980 XS11 STD Backrest for TRADE

I have a Backrest that came off my 1980 XS-11.STD I also have the nylon travel bag that is in the picture. I would like to trade for a good seat with a non rusty pan or if someone has a good XS-11 STD fuel tank. Or if you have a kerker slip on I could use on my 4 into 1. No it won't fit the 80' LG or the 81' LH. Unless you are a master fabricator!!

i do have a seat , its in good shape it does have a cover on it , it came off of my79 xs1100sf, i am looking for a sissybar for my80 xs1100sg would yours fit, thanks marvin

I honestly dont know if it would fit or not. It was nice on my bike but maybe it will fit on a special. Hopefully some of the other members will know for sure.

80 special measurements

Hey Walter,
Been a little rainy here, but finally got some backrest mounting measurements from my 80 special.
From front mount to back mount is approx. 11 3/4" (ctc)
The width at the front mounts (shocks) are approx. 12 1/2"
The width at the back mounts are approx. 9 1/4" and 12 1/2"
Two widths because it already has mounting studs attached, which can be removed for the shorter width if necessary

Having P/C problems!

Yeah I checked those measurements and this backrest will only work with the Standard XS-11's. The Specials are a little different set up. Yeah mt internet provider has crappy service to me out there in the sticks! Somedays I cant even log on.
