  • New OEM right exhast pipe FS

I got some extra parts from the guy that I got my 80 XS1100 Special from last week. One of the parts was a NEW in the bag right side complete exhaust pipe in perfect condition and has never been mounted. You can see that in the picture of the mounting tab. I can send more pictures on request.

I figured with all the bikes being restored to perfection here I would offer it here first.
I called the dealership and they don't even have a price listing for it anymore.
If anyone is interested please email me with an offer. I still need to get it boxed up for shipping but I'll wait to see if there is any interest in it first.

The guy I talked to at Yamaha guessed they were somewhere in the $400.00 range when they were available. I know it won't go for that but I can always hope.

Sweet! Not sure what it would be worth by itself, but with a matching left side we'd be talking some serious coin!

The left side is more prone to get wrecked, being the downside when on the side stand and it never gets cleaned as much as the right. I had two break from the center stand wacking against them every time I dropped it off the stand. I still think you could get $500 for it on ebay.

If only it was a Black Chrome one... Of course, I could never afford it, even if it was.. Very nice item there. Definitely worth quite a bit to the right buyer.

Is there an old parts price list anywhere that might show what these sold for new? It would be interesting to see.
It's just too bad he didn't have both sides.

According to Benefiscal, there is a listing for the LEFT side, and the last reported price was 532 euros. That's about $750 USD, just for one side!

Well, back in 2006, Benefiscal says that a place called "Speed & Sport" had the MNS pipes listed for right around $600 USD, per side. Of course, that was 3 years ago.

#3 pipe to fit that exhaust.

I have the number three pipe to go along with that set of pipes. Let me know if some one needs the NOS pipe to go with.

                            right exhaust

I have a NOS one on the left side.....bout a year old now. Wish my left side would be deteriated so as to have both the same. Left side was listed in an area of fleabay didn't get any attention and had a buy it now of 95bucks! Phoned them and had the gal on the phone check it out to make sure it was NOS.........jumped on that one! Still has left side I took off. Has a couple pin holes starting in outer shell. To bad as rest of pipe, both headers and chrome is perfect shape.
