79 special & 78 standard

I just picked up a 79 xs11 special.....7,300 miles and a 78 xs11 standard 12,000 miles. Both with titles and good motors and trani's. I think I'm going to part out the 78, and sell the 79 special in one piece....unless...i part them both out. The special is clean and would bring some good parts $$, also got fairings, sissy bars, hard bags ect . Also got an 80 xs11 sg highback factory seat with sissy bar. I'm going to start listing parts on ebay under xs11lover. I'll take requests, and maybe sell outright if you step up and are in line with true value. You know I list them as they are at half the true value and hope the bids move up.

I just got them on tuesday, 15 hours of drive time. The special has been sitting in his garage for ten years. He put oil in the top of the motor and let it sit. The carbs are gummed and the tires will need replaced, carb boots are cracked but may not leak. The bike is coverd with dirt but will clean up nicely. The only unfixable thing I have seen is it has a 80sg tank(with red metal flake insted of gold)
I don't think I will have any trouble cleaning and fixing to make it a $2500 to $3000 bike. 7,300 miles!
I could clean it up and part it out to the tune of $3,000 now. I haven't even washed it yet. I'd take $1,500 as it sits. I just sold one like it on ebay for $3500 with 10,000 miles.
The 78 standard is a 12,000 mile bike that shouldn't take more than a brake and carb cleaning and a valve cover gasket. but it shows it's age and would take more work to make it shine. It was the original owner and I took it out of the back room at the bike shop. They said clean the carbs and it would run.
Owner said the bike was fine and he just got a new one last year. I'd get about $1500 for the parts, I'd take $950 for the bike as it sets.
I'm in Montoursville, Pa just east of Williamsport. In town and not hard to find. rt 15 runs right into Williamsport.
