Are you interested in selling just the supertrap?

The headers are not worth very much. The exhaust system alone is worth over $200. I have already lowered the price to make it very appealing. PM me with your offer.

      Thanks for your interest.

I was just curious as I already have a 4 into 1 header.

I do not like the sound of my stockish muffler at all.

I removed the entire thing and like the way it sounded at an idle but sounded terrible w/o it driving.

Removed the first baffle and sounds a bit better.

        No baffles is crappy also.

I figure with yours, it may get rid of the crotch rocket sound?

This baby sounds really, really good.

last spring when I bought the bike the SuperTrapp didn't even have a baffle. That thing sounded great but holy SH!@T was it loud. My wife made me buy a baffle to keep my neighbors happy and that was the end of it.

I paid $137.00 for the tunable baffle back in July 08

            Is this still available?

Would it fit a 1979 XS 1100 Special?

              Yes it is still available.

The XS1100 is basically the same as the XJ1100. It should bolt right up. Most of the web sites that sell replacement exhaust systems list the XJ and the XS together.

If the mufflers use the rear set (footpeg) bracket as a mount, the XJ and XS are different. The XJ set is closer to the front of the bike. Not a big deal, but not a straight bolt-up fit. Note...the Standard and Special also have different rear sets, both differnt from the XJ.
