Because I'd like to have a decent set of carb boots if they were in a good price range. I was trying to point out that you priced them extremely high for used boots.

This is an open forum for discussion and was under the impression we were allowed to state our opinions in a calm manner. I'm sorry you seem to take such offense at anything said. I honestly do hope you get the price you are asking on Ebay and wasn't attacking you in any way. If you think I'm wrong, then that's your right to state also. I'm simply basing my opinion on new prices versus used prices NORMALLY seen for used boots on Ebay.

Well if you had been watching E-bay recently, I saw a set about 3 or 4 weeks ago that we priced at $70 plus shipping for a pair of used boots that look terrible. I dont know if that is "NORMAL" or not.

I agree that this is an open forum, but if you wanted a lower price why didnt you just ask?

Instead you make comments about a persons sale, if you did that at a store or car lot they would probably ask you to leave.

It seems from this post and others that you try to help others to find cheaper prices on parts, but why not just PM the person some of this information. By posting some of your comments you come off as a "sellers worst nightmare" as my wife put it, and since she has alot of experience in sales on the internet, I would tend to agree with her.

She also said that if there is a person making such comments on a sale, they are hoping you will drop your price, but that even if the seller drops thier price they still will not sell to the person that sabotoged the sale.

So in essence, you would not be helping yourself in such cases anyway.

So if you are sincere in your hope that I would still get the sale on e-bay, thank you.

So anyway, it's over and done with, and now I would like to let this thread fade into the past, so I won't be making anymore replys to you.
