    '81 XS1100SH exhaust pipes

I am in the process of rebuilding my SH now since my SG is up and running.

It has the 4 into 2 spaghetti pipes or I guess that is what you'd call them. Instead of a nice clean set of pipes dropping down in front of the engine, these go all over the place. I know some guys like that, I don't at all.

Anyway, they aren't in that bad a shape. My buddy and I were looking at them the other day and discussing how someone would want them.

Here's the thing...I don't want to deal with shipping.

I'll give them away for free, repeat FREE, I just want to get them out of my buddy's shed. He lives in Maine so anyone who wants to make the trip to Maine or NH as I could bring them here, they're yours.

The next time I go over there I will get a photo to post.

I guess I should have added, the back end of the pipes look like the traditional XS1000 Special pipes. I don't remember much rust on them but I can check to save someone a trip. From what I remember, they just need a really good cleaning a polishing.

Of course I meant to say, "XS1100 Special pipes".

Don't give up, it's a long winter and maybe, just maybe, I will get myself motivated to ship them. If I did, I would be asking for shipping costs only.

            i have an 81 special.
actually the midnight special. but when i got it was beyond the point of a restore dream so ive chopperized it a bit.

i highly doubt ill be using the stock mufflers on my bike though.

and i dont even care idf the chrome is bad as i run black exhaust anyways

let me know if i can get those moved out of your way for you.

I keep my bikes at my friend's house in Maine. It's about a 45 mins from where I live. The next time I go over there, not sure if that will be in a couple of weeks or a month, who knows, I will take photos.

                Don

(Gary's SH on right, my SG on the left) Remember, I'm talking about the pipes on my SH not the SG in the photo.
