79 xs parts for trade/free...

I would like to trade ( or just give away) some of my parts for any parts for a xs1100 standard, a 1979 cx500 custom, a 1978 Honda NC50 (Honda Express), 71 cb750, an 82 cm450, john deere 110 tractor, or 59 cushman eagle (I know, keep dreamin right...lol)

I'm just looking to clean out the garage, not trying to make any money here...If you want a picture of something just PM me.

Condensed list:
Touring seat, (complete, but not great condition. If you just want the seat with no cowl or rail, free to good home pay shipping)

Original hard saddle bags (with lids, locks, and almost complete chrome rails, need repaint)

Two tanks, both dark blue, one rotted on left bottom, one only a very small hole, both no dents. (free to good home, pay shipping)

Original shocks (some pitting on tubes)

Two fuel sensors (one tested working, one not tested is free to good home pay shipping)

Two petcocks (not tested, will clean and test if interested)

Reserve lighting unit (not tested, free to good home pay shipping)

I have a touring seat that's cover is shot, foam is okay, seat pan is a little rusty in spots but solid overall. The cowl has the emblem and is in overall good condition, it also has the chrome grab rail in good condition with light pitting. I am willing to send just the rail, or cowl, or seat/seat pan.

I also have the original bags with lids that do lock, I have all the chrome in decent condition except for one of the U shaped brackets that mounts it to the bike is missing. They need repainted, but are in good shape, no cracks...good replacement candidates...with key...

I have two tanks...neither are useable right away. One i doubt anyone would want, but if someone wanted something to tinker with it would be good. It's rotted out all along the left bottom edge, but the rest of the tank looks great no dents except the lip of the tank in the front where it has that black rubber peice it's dented a little

I have another dark blue standard tank that only has a hole the size that you could fit a grain of rice in. The rest of the tank is in very good condition cosmetic wise with no dents.

I also have the original shocks that the tubes are pitted...the rest are in good shape, if someone just needs the lowers, or springs, or caps or something i can part these out too.

I have two fuel level sensors one tested, one has the wires cut off, but should work if you spliced/soldered some wires back on.

I have two petcocks that I haven't tested yet, but could if someone is interested. Both have good filters.

I also have an RLU that I haven't been able to test because I replaced it with another and my headlight still doesn't work. Free to good home...

what do you need for the bags and tank? I'm in south of Saginaw and have tons of standard and special parts.

What standard parts do you have? I don't really have a need for anything...just looking for spares. The only thing I can think of right now that I need is a brake light switch for the front brakes, and for the rear...they're both pretty shifty as to whether or not they wanna work...if you have a headlight bucket and blinkers that would be cool, i'm looking to ditch my fairing...uhh...anything else that's unique that would go on these bikes, accessories or sumthing...

Just to be clear, these bags have sat in the sun for a while and will need repainted, and I'm missing a peice of the chrome that goes around them to mount them to the bike...you'll need that in order to use them...It's the U shaped part that bolts to the shock mount and somewhere else...don't remember.

Let me know what you have, and if you want to have them shipped or just meet half way somewhere, or you come pick em up...I'm home Mon-Thurs after six most of the time. Heck, your only an hour at most from me I could come bring em to you even...

You still have those hard bags? Also, do you have rear shocks available, in working condition? I am pretty sure mine don't dampen anymore. What do you have for a windshield?

I haven't heard back from dsxs11 about the bags. I'll let you know on that.

As for rear shocks, the only ones i have are on my bike, and obviously don't want to part with them. If I get a headlight bucket and blinkers I will have a stock Yamaha fairing in dark blue with cycle sound...
