  • Ferring and Bags...

    Good Evening everyone!!

Just wanted to throw a post up here to let you all know I have had to sell my 78 XS1100. Times were really tough and money was too tight to pass on the deal I was made. I did not, however, sell the full Ferring and matching bags when I sold the bike.

When I first bought my XS, someone in this community asked to purchase my Ferring and bags when I said I was taking them off. Although I do not remember who asked me, I did say that if I ever decided to sell them, I would offer it here first, before posting it on e-Bay.

I don't currently have pictures yet, but hope to get some soon. Please let me know if anyone is interested in these. You can post a reply here, or simply e-mail me.

I haven't settled on a price yet, so just make me an offer. Who knows, I might just take it.

    Thanks ... and take care.

Ok gang. The set is still for sale. I have promised virgsr62 first stab, because of a major oversight on my part, but if he is no longer interested, I would like to get these sold.

As I don't have a great deal of time (SWMBO found a great house for me to buy and move into) in the upcoming weeks, please feel free to e-mail me any questions or interests. My email is StreetRat78@gmail.com

        Thanks again!

          Vetter saddlebag mounts

Do you have the metal mounting brackets for the saddle bags? Were these the bags that were sort of triangular and open sideways (instead of lids)?
I am looking for the mounting brackets for the Vetter saddlebags of this type. I am looking to make a custom luggage setup. thanks

I do have the metal mounting brackets for the bags, but they are not the triangular ones. they are the rectangle ones with the lids that open toward the bike.
