Final Drive and Middle Drive Oil Measuring Tool

I am looking for exactly what the subject says. That is of couse unless anyone knows how to measure the oil in the middle and final drive without this tool... Anyone? The manual says to measure the oil with the 'supplied measuring tool'. Yea, right.
