    Hey Saddletramp,

Is the seat the stock variety? If so, what color and kind of condition is it in and how much do you want for it?

      seat

Yes BobE, the seat is stock 80g and is black and in good condition. no rips or tears. there is some wear through on the under side at the seatpan where it folds over. I am asking $60 and you pay shipping. I would estimate shipping around twenty or thirty bucks to RI. thanks for asking. Luther aka Saddletramp.

        Hi Luther,

Unfortunately, I do not have that much to spend on the seat. So I think I'll have to pass, although I do want it. I don't think it is a bad price, just don't have it right now.

If it matters, the seat currently on mine is one of those double-bucket touring seats, no rips or tears, black, lots of padding. I find it uncomfortable for me as it keeps moving me forward in the seat. I'm 6'3" with most of my height from the waist up. My inseam is 31". This seat causes me to stretch a bit to reach the ground, so it would be good for someone with longer legs. The gent I bought it from (rneal55555 here) finds it very comfortable, so I guess it is one of those "seat" issues.

I'd be willing to trade with you for yours, or if someone wants mine, they can pay you for it and I'll ship to them while you ship yours to me...or whatever....I don't know if that made any sense or not....

          Hey Luther!

Got the seat yesterday, very nice! I put it on and went for a ride. Much more comfortable for me, gives me more ability to move and stretch out. Many many thanks! You'll be hearing from me again next week!

                Bags and hardware

I'm looking for bags to match my '80G silver/gray colors and matching Yamaha by Vetter faring.

Do you still have them and, if so, what color are they?

                Regards,

                Scott

Assuming that they fit the Special SG, I would be very interested in the valves.

I need intake valves and tensioners if the tensioners are good. Also if there is a good place that still sells new cam chains.
