I assume that you are talking about the adjuster in the center of the cylinder head just below the intake manifolds.

I am looking for the number one carb for either a 79 or 80. I have a set of each and both have a broken float pin on the number one carb. let me know thanks. or if you dont want to break them up how much for the whole rack. if I can make one good set I would sell my others individualy to others if they need them but want to make one good set. I would like to put the original 1980 ones back on but will settle for what I can get. Thanks

I have a set that I will break up. They are the style that has screw holding the float bowl seat in place. you may have the type the has a thredded float bowl seat.
I have mixed them up before and set properly they work fine but that is something that is up to you.

I used liquid electrical tape on my carb tubes, ten or so years ago, still working fine. Its a quick, easy fix. doesn't look like new, but looks ok, and works.

My Dear friends , First, me let apologize for the delay in responding.
Second; due to the massive response to this listing, it would be unfair for me to pick and choose who gets what, not fair to you or to me.
I ride a 1977xs 750 triple everyday and with the trouble I had finding good parts for the triple and the 1100, I know how frustrating it all can be.
I will post the parts on ebay next week and that way everyone has a fair chance at them.
I won't be asking an arm and a leg for the parts but I do want to get at least some of the money back that I've put in this bike.
