parting out 1100

I bought a bike to raid for parts. I used the carbs and the tank.
I have many parts on this thing left. I will break it down and sell it on ebay but I wanted to give you guys first chance at it.
I also need a set of boots for the carbs ( that costs less than a hundred dollors) if anyone knows of a set.

What model is the bike? I need bits for a '78 XS1100E, so most any "Standard" model would do (square headlight & signals model).

THe parts bike didn't come with a headlight assy. Sorry. If i had it I would sell it to ya.

Hey Dustin,

Thanks for the reply! I ws just curious what model it is - I don't specifically need the headlight, but do need several other parts such as turn signal perches and the hardware to attach them (rubber goddamits, ground leads, & backing washers). I could also use a lifting handle; the loop that attaches under the seat on the near-side.

Dustin, I bought a set of Intake boots off ebay a couple of weeks ago, pretty sure they were about $80.00 including shipping. I have a extra used set, but unfortunatly they are not in very good condition. Does your parts bike have a exhaust system??????????

Speedometer

If it is a special what does the speedometer read in mph, 85 or 140/160? If it reads 140/160 i would be interested in it. I want to put it on my 80SG. How much would you want for it?
