xs1100 parts for sale

have a pretty good selection of 78-81 Yamaha xs1100 parts in the parts pile. Current summary: complete cylinder head 78e,cylinder jugs with matching pistons and rings 81sh,6 pistons with rings,rear drive gears,universals and driveshafts,swingarm several electrical harness,complete clutches,battery boxes,some brake rotors,lots of misc electrical stuff like pickup coil assemblies,regulaters,headlight relay,ballast resister etc, cylinder head bolts,front forks,frame,front/rear rims,gauge cluster,tailight assembly,rear seat cowl, footpegs,speedo drive gear,clutch/throttle/speedo cables,triple trees,lots of misc rubberbits,shift lever,rear brake lever,misc nut/bolts etc. A 79xs1100 special should be arriving this week a complete bike will know more when it arrives.most likely cosmetically challenged. Bike arrived 79sf, has a king/queen seat ripped cover,pan is very good shape,chrome rear bar is good, some good non slotted brake rotors,left sidecover is good emblem lock tab good,no cracks, .right handlebar controls are good,headlight bucket and ears are average not dented or road rashed but will need polish to clean up., exhaust is very tired most likely will scrap it.,nice full size single piece crashbar ,. both front and rear fenders nice but painted, bike came with LOTS of round chrome signals,lens,etc, emergency kickstarter,tank is dented but super clean to bad, all the electrical stuff is there so have pickup coils,coils,tci(2h7),regulater, etc... front footpegs are good, ... send me an PM if you need something. andreas

Tore this bike down today to basic parts. Left side stock exhaust is in pretty good condition. #3 pipe from left side is also good. The right side was scraped except for the header pipe (#3) , I will leave the engine complete for now, approx 24,000 miles, in case anyone wants a complete engine. Carbs are 78/79 series and looked pretty good, everything moves ,look pretty clean, electrical harness was suprisingly intact, uncut, not damaged, has the usual 4 in line fuses replacing the fuse block. airbox good, headlight bucket and ears have some surface rust but not pitted yet ,some polish should make them at least driver quality. 3 nice brake rotors non slotted. right front caliper and rear caliper are decent, both front and rear master are useable. front and rear rims are the tubeless type, 19inch front,16 inch rear,perfect fuel sending unit,nice left/right petcocks, tank had some major big not fixable dents and was scraped. nice rear tailight lens. lots of good electrical,coils,regulater,right handlebar controls,handlebars., andreas

Hi,
I just picked up an 80 XS1100 Special with a windjammer, pulled the windjammer and need a headlight in good condition and also looking for an upper cover, the chrome cover with the Yamaha emblem on the tubes below the headlight. Would you happen to have either, if so how much and could you send a picture?
