VETTER FAIRING BRACKET and more ...

I have a used Vetter Fairing Bracket (oem welded tube type) for sale; fits D thru F XS11 frames & even fits the XJ11 frame - has the same 2 front mounting holes.

Was tweaked on one side down approx. 1/8" inch. I've moved it back close to specs. Otherwise it's quite servicable, no cracks.

    Make offer -

Also I have a set of used Slashcut Mufflers, XS750 Crash Bar, brand new Red-Amber Bullet Lights, BRAND NEW 5.75" dia. Chrome Headlight for FXWG, SOFTAIL, Polished XS11 front rim (high quality) ... make me an offer on what you might need.

    thanks, Rob

      Madmax -

Nope - but it's a relatively EZ install.

For the XJ11 model you'll need 2 metric screws that thread the Vetter bracket in behind the horns into two oem mount holes (already factory drilled), TWO 1.75" radiator hose clamps and 4 sets of 5/16ths x 3/4" long screws with nuts/ lock washers.
Hardware stores usually carry these items.

Between the 2 hose clamps and 2 bracket bolts it should be a strong mount setup.

Let me know if you need pics of the XJ11 frame hole area ... RJ

        Rob,
very intersting...I was looking at a new vetter mount bracket for the XS850,complete with hardware on ebay for $45.The only thing is that i am not 100% sure it would fit my XJ11.How much would you want for the bracket?BTW I see you are in Tucson!I lived there for 15 years myself.I know it has become a larger town than when I was there..1967-1982.Take care...I see you got some rain too...snow prolly on Mt.Lemmon(sigh)....Ben....
oh yeah if you had some pix of the install setup I'd be much obliged sir!

Rob how much for the mufflers? PIX if possible. I do not have the stock header/collector/muffler setup on my bike. I believe they are Jardine, spaghetti's type with a crossover pipe. Will you mufflers fit this type setup?

The OEM muffs for the XJ will not fit on the Jardines. Why do you want to replace the Jardines? 'Sketti' pipes look cool.

"skitte" pipes are awesome and sound is so much better than the standard 1-2 and 3-4 separation, However the mufflers are getting bad and I was thinking about replacing, but very expensive. headers are Okay.

                        see pm

Dell - see pm for details.

If memory serves me the Slashcut Mufflers may just slip over the oem exh. pipes just behind the stock heat shields.

Dell, I have a mounting bracket that came with a vetter fairing that came off an XS1100F. It looks just like Tucmans.

I have an XS850 and Im currently waiting on a mount I ordered. Let me know if you are interested and I'll post a picture.
