Howdy. This'd be my first post I guess!
Just picked up a '79 XS11SF yesterday. I've had a bunch of Suzuki GSs, but this is my first XS.
Not crazy about the small teardrop tank, though (I'd like to tour w/ the wife on the back). After some searching, it looks like standard and special tanks interchange pretty well.
So I'm wondering if anyone has a standard tank for sale or wants to trade for my special tank. It needs paint, has a few good chips and one small (non-creased) dent, so if your standard tank is in better shape I'd make up the difference in cash. A quick look inside showed really minimum rust (just a dusting from sitting with low gas level), so it's solid. I'll post pics soon.
I understand the petcocks and cap aren't interchangeable, so I'd need the tank complete with all that stuff.
