New bike in the yard. Have not yet taken a real good look but some highlights are: Oil cooler setup,chrome 4-1 exhaust system,fork brace(tube style not tkat),sissybar,rear chrome seat rail,3 standard style rotors that have been drilled(nice job) rotors have lots of life left,set of carbs with the choke handle not broken off!,chrome two piece crashbar set,160 mph (only) speedo,nice tach and gauge cluster,nice left controls, stock mirrors.. The seat pan and cover is junk just parts,gas tank is rusted out petcocks/sending unit are salvageable,Motor turns over and fired up,chrome is not pitted if engine sidecovers are needed etc, headlight bucket and bezel is good the ears have some surface rust,Looks like all 4 signals are bent, lens and some pieces might be salvageable. PM if there are any parts needed. I have to work dayshift next 5 days so cannot wrench and take a better look until wednesday next week. andreas

Have had some time to work on bike. Exhaust was scrapped. Holes and major dents on header.gas tank scrapped but petcocks,sending unit,gas cap decent.seat scrapped but pan bolts,rubber,grabbar and rear cowling good.All three standard rotors are good and have been nicely drilled by PO.has good aftermarket sissybar but no luggage rack.wiring harness will need a new fuse block,has a good chrome handle on left side to grab onto to lift bike on centre stand. Will leave motor complete for a while in case anyone wants one. carbs look good and have the chroke tab unbroken,left controls good, right controls need the button replaced. has a nice flat black tube style fork brace. Pm if parted needed. andreas

Do you still have this bike? I need a few parts for my new project bike. I need side covers, any name plates and I'm sure much more to come.

Just an update as to what is left that is 78 standard specific xs1100 . Seat rear cowling(2) rear chrome seat grab bar (1), triple tree, gauge cluster with speedo tach (3)

I was wondering if you have any electrical stuff left? I need a voltage regulator off of one. If you don't, would you know where I can get 1?
