    YAMAHA 1979 XS1100F
    Purchased new from Dealer in Lawrenceville, GA 1980. VIN 2H7-020238.
    1 owner, obsessively maintained, 54, 000mi.
    45 years of shop manual notes and receipts for upgrades and repairs Have always run Amsoil
    Full Vetter faring w/ lowers Krauser bags w/ luggage rack and back rest extra Tracey ¼ faring
    Tank bag Case guards Handlebar throttle lock K&N air-fuel ratio gage 130/60W headlight
    Wired for accessories, air horns, electric vest. Hippo Hands covers, cold weather Tourmaster top & pants.
    Steel brake lines front and rear drilled rotors (stops as good as it goes)
    Extended Fox touring shocks, progressive springs/ air front all w/ rubber boots, fork brace,
    All aluminum covers chrome plated Most fasteners replaced w/ SS allen screws & bolts
    ENGINE
    1200cc 10:1 kit and valve job at 28,000 mi. 9 plate racing clutch Upgraded aftermarket coils
    4 into 1 Specialist II exhaust Center stand still in place
    Carb boots , vacuum diaphragms replaced, rebuilt fuel petcocks
    Starting “Bendix” replaced (cases $plit)
    Tool box w/ jets, fasteners, shims , carb tools.
    In stock form w/ full faring, at sea level, flat road in Florida, speedometer read 130 mph. Never tried that again after boring it.
    Reason for sale: Turned 80 in July.

    Sweet ..looks like you added a Venturer 6 gallon tank too...and last 2 pics show a Venturer fairing...very nicely done sir...Congrats on turning 80...

      Faring and tank (5.3 gal) were stock from the dealer.

      No one should be congratulated for looking like this, send flowers and a sympathy card. Thanks

      Last attempted ride to Laramie stopped, too much snow.
