Well, I'm on another "life simplification" kick and listing my '79 XS1100F for sale. Got another baby on the way, just no time to ride as it is. Just over 24k miles. The bike has been fully gone through over the last few years. 4-1 Mac exhaust installed by the original owner (not loud or droning at all), jetted at the stock 137.5/42.5. Starts/runs/rides beautifully. I just rode it to AMA Vintage Days in Ohio and back last month, the bike ran great, zero issue. Fresh Vesrah clutch springs, new Shinko 230 Tourmaster tires, rims converted to tubeless, rear driveshaft splines coated in moly paste. intermediate and final drive fluids serviced. Oil/filter done about 1000 miles ago. Stainless braided brake lines front and rear, rebuilt calipers with new stainless pistons. Blade type fuse box upgrade. Valves adjusted, fresh OE valve cover gasket and half-moon plugs installed. Bike will come with a few boxes full of misc XS11 parts I've accumulated over the years if buyer is interested. I've got it listed for $2750 elsewhere (I cringe to think what I've got into it, I suspect close to $4k) but would cut a XS11 enthusiast on here a tremendous deal knowing that it would go to someone that appreciates these bikes. Located in the NW suburbs of Indianapolis.
