  • 1982 XJ1100 located in Beaverton, OR $2000

My dad bought this 82 XJ in 1984. It became mine in 2006. I bought a new CB1100EX and it's time for the Yamaha to move on.

I just rebuilt the carbs and it runs strong. 48,000 miles. Dad did the second gear fix. First gear could use it and I have an extra set of gears coming in the mail for a possible swap out.

I have the shop manual and owners manual in print (also digital on CD-rom which has microfiche and all XS 1100 model manuals too). It also has the tool kit, original locking security chain, an extra tank, extra seat, and several other extra miscellaneous parts. It has stainless braided brake lines, and custom TKAT fork brace. Lots of receipts and paperwork from over the years. Has been serviced at Cycle Metrics in Portland, Oregon. Clean title, but registration is expired.

Took the time to look at everything. That is a very nice bike. If I was closer I would take that off your hands. Great deal with all of the extras that come with it. You mentioned the 1st gear. How bad is it slipping?

Thanks! t’s rideable but definitely should be addressed. I bought a set of gears off eBay that look great. Was considering swapping them out. Would be a fun project. Am I crazy? Ha!
