Anyone want to take a shot at a price estimate on this? For whatever reason the XS's don't seem to fetch the same money as other liter bikes from that era.1980 XS1100G

Just to register to bid is anywhere from 100 to 400 dollars. A collector will buy this bike. Just recently one sold for 15000 plus on bring a trailer. It was not in anywhere near the condition of this one. Just going through the pictures of this brings back fond memories of when I was a young pup when I bought mine. Those mag mopus tires were actually good tires. The spitfires now no longer available were basically the same tire with the same ratings. The current bridgestone offerings of the BattlAX BT46 tires again are basically the same tire with the same ratings. The only drawback being there not available with Raised White Lettering. I refreshed all of mine last fall and had to paint all of them with a white paint pen to match the same effect as original. I know I have a problem and the purist in me makes me do those things.2 - 80 LGs bought one new

I know Bob in passing. Recently he sold a 1980 XS850 MS and the hammer dropped at $30,000 + $3,000 fees. And that had ~3500 miles. This will be the same and Cajun31 is right, only a collector will buy it and no one will ride it. I suspect this one would need lots of rubber replacement if you wanted to ride it. Bob has a huge collection (hundreds of pristine bikes) and has been selling it off since at least 2020 for some amazing $$$. He is a very nice guy.78 XS1100E touring
