Have the exact same fairing as that ad picture, it's even that same color! I believe it to be a Yamaha branded one that was built by Vetter according to someone who replied to me asking about it on this forum just after I bought the bike. It uses a standard Vetter windshield. I have ZERO idea how the lowers mount up but my fairing does have three caps at the bottom on each side which I believe to be mounting points under them, I've never pried those caps off.1980 XS1100G

Those lowers are the same as the ones on my Venturer.
They attach by philips head sheet metal style screws, but the Venturer did have caps over the screws.
