  • 1979 XS1100sf for sale

I'm selling my special because I haven't been riding it for a couple of years. Carbs have been rebuilt but probably need a cleaning. I'm letting it go cheap because it's been sitting for awhile and I'd like to see it back on the road with someone who can give it the TLC it needs. Price is $500. The pictures are from when I had all shined up. It can get there again with some elbow grease. It has a standard tank on now for extra range but I have original tank and seat. cell phone: 425-879-4791 or email: blatkn1@frontier.com

ID:	869404I'm pretty sure that seat is from the Yamaha accessory catalog back in the day. They had them for all of the Specials.

Spanking deal. GLWS. It's worth 500 just as a parts machine. I'd put it on CL for much more-$1500-2500. But hey, what do I know? ( I know I'm too far away to get it for meself
I'd check out "Bring a Trailer" too-even though I've been burned there by unethical sellers.

That's interesting to know. I have a seat just like that one on my 79sf. The tag on the underside of the seat pan says Tri-Con Industries, Lincoln Nebraska. It's actually a nice-looking seat.
